For some, recovery from substance use requires structure within a flexible framework to accommodate employment, school and family schedules. Outpatient treatment services are designed to help participants gain a better insight into their substance use and mental health disorders and the effects their behaviors and symptoms have had on their personal growth, family and relationships. Through the group process, participants learn to deal with everyday stress and ongoing issues in recovery.
As participants progress, they continue to work on their continuing personal needs. They begin to let go of treatment and gain independence, while beginning to outline a personal plan for continued growth.
In order to serve a wide group of people, CLARE|MATRIX offers Outpatient Treatment Programs at two locations:

Opioid Treatment Program
CLARE|MATRIX’s Opioid Treatment Program provides medication assisted treatment (sometimes referred to as “MAT”) along with substance use counseling and education in the treatment of primarily opiate injecting substance use disorders.
The clinical team is made up of licensed and licensed-eligible clinicians, nurses, a nurse practitioner, a psychiatrist and registered or certified AOD counselors. Referrals to this program come primarily from mental health professionals, managed care case managers, medical personnel, employee assistance personnel, chemical dependency treatment centers, business managers, county agencies, criminal justice contracts, and self-referrals.
The program offers medication management, individual and group sessions, and case management that includes referrals to housing, employment and education resources. Life skills and relapse prevention skills help participants learn to identify triggers and practice coping skills.
