This updated 2-day training is based on the second edition, Matrix Model Manual Revised and Expanded. The two-day workshop includes a didactic overview of the Matrix Model and experiential exercises. There will be special emphasis on familiarizing the audience with the components of the model and how to start using it whether in implementation or adaptation. Participants in this training will be able to: describe the various core components that comprise the Matrix Model and begin implementing them at their organization, educate their clients on the brain and addiction, apply the Matrix format cognitive behavioral manualized treatment with difficult and complex populations and incorporate elements of the Matrix Model into existing treatment programs. (Optional Native focused training, upon request.)
