Putting Recovery back into Treatment

Since 1970, CLARE|MATRIX has been providing substance use and mental health recovery services to individuals on the Westside of Los Angeles. We provide an integrated care delivery model that: meets our participants where they are, with what they need, when they are ready.

Our three-part care model combines an evidence-based regimen of medication, behavioral therapy, and purpose and peer support. This approach is designed to promote long-term recovery and lifelong healing for those we serve. We define long-term recovery, or “success”, as when an individual, once hopelessly afflicted with SUD, is sufficiently recovered to be a self-supporting member of society and extend their hand to help others similarly afflicted.

Sharing a Vision

Propelled by the shared belief that together we can save more lives, CLARE Foundation and Matrix Institute on Addictions joined forces in 2018.

Today, we have become an industry-defining organization that successfully combines CLARE Foundation’s 50 years of expertise delivering an extensive continuum of residential services with the Matrix Institute on Addictions, which has 35+ years of experience in outpatient treatment, training and research, and worldwide recognition for its evidence-based Matrix Model.
