This is my second time attending CLARE|MATRIX for outpatient treatment. My substance use of choice is alcohol. The coping skills and team support I have received here have been an important part of my recovery. Being surrounded by others who are going through similar situations, along with the amazing staff members who educate us on life skills, has made me feel motivated and inspired to continue my recovery.

In addition, there are many ways that CLARE helps clients receive the tools they need to put “one foot in front of the other” on their recovery journey.

The first time I came here was in December 2024 after being referred by a UCLA psychiatrist. The second time, in mid-May, I walked in on my own, which shows just how much I was inspired by my first experience.

I intend to stick around for help with the various issues I am currently facing and for the overall support the program provides.
